Degree of Honor has a longstanding tradition of helping communities through the work of our local lodges and service clubs. And we’re happy to announce a brand new opportunity for our financial members who may not live close to a lodge or service club, or who might not have the time to volunteer on a regular basis. “Impact Teams” empower our members to organize an individual service project, with the assistance of friends, family and others who are passionate about the same cause!
What would you like to do for your community? Perhaps you’d like to plant a tree at the veteran’s home, or paint the community room at your church. Or could it be that hosting a game night and pizza party for kids in foster care, or sponsoring a car wash to raise funds for the school’s new band uniforms is more to your liking? The possibilities are only as limited as your interests and creativity.
Simply gather at least four other people (members or not) to form your Impact Team, complete a short application to explain to us what you’d like to do, and once approved, Degree of Honor will help support your project in three ways:
- Up to $150 to purchase supplies to get your project off the ground
- Five free “Impact Team” shirts for your group to wear while completing your project
- An online sign-up link for you to share and help spread the word about your project
And for all other questions, we invite you to contact: memberengagement@degreeofhonor.com or call 1-414-278-6597.
